Sally’s Baking Addiction | Cake Batter Chocolate Chip Cookies
I bought her cookbook and it’s amazing! I made these without the white chocolate chips or sprinkles and with French Vanilla cake mix instead of white/yellow because I had a spontaneous craving. They’re still delicious and I look forward to making them as written in the future.
This cake is fantastic. It is very moist and fluffy and also pink which is exciting. The strawberry gelatin mixed with the pieces of strawberry mixed into the batter make the flavor out of the world delicious. This cake is also fairly easy to make as it requires a boxed cake mix. The recipe calls for 3 pans but I only used two—if you choose to do this bake for 35 minutes instead of 25-30 like it says in the recipe. Enjoy!
I found this recipe in a vegetarian book that my friend lent me and although this recipe took up about 3 hours to make and had many difficulties, the ravioli turned our to be very delicious. The filling alone is excellent to eat by itself ;)
As a note I would like to tell everyone that pasta flour is your friend—use it.
These cookies are amazing. They’re soft, but have a slight crunch from the sugar on the outside, and have an outstanding flavour from the addition of almond extract. The maraschino cherry in the center doesn’t hurt, either. This recipe calls for a whole cherry in each cookie, but I used half a cherry and thought it was just enough.

These cookies are super easy to make thanks to the use of boxed cake mix. Taking shortcuts with ingredients doesn’t mean taking shortcuts with flavour or quality, though. The cookies are soft and chewy, and the flavour will please both red velvet fans and haters alike.
IHOP: NEW YORK CHEESECAKE/CINNA-STACK/RED VELVET PANCAKES
New York Cheesecake: SO DISAPPOINTING. They were dry and each pancake only had a few cheesecake chunks right in the middle. So much potential, and yet… My dining-mates had much better luck with their choices.
Cinna-stack: Tasted like a cinnamon bun. Beautiful. Cinnamon sauce was layered between each pancake, and frosting drizzled on top.
Red Velvet: Amazing. They were drizzled with a cream cheese frosting. Very sweet, but also very delicious.
Super MOIST. Moistest cake I have ever eaten/baked.
Served warm with vanilla ice cream, this is one dynamite cake. This is a recipe I am definitely keeping.
My sister made these. As you may know, I don’t like coffee, but I usually don’t mind it when it’s in desserts.
She added too much butter, so the cake wasn’t fluffy, but very moist and soft. I may have liked that better than normal cake. The frosting was smooth and creamy, the perfect compliment.
Espresso is added to both the cake batter and the frosting, so coffee lovers will really enjoy these.
